FRESHMEN WILL PLAY POMFRET

In its second game of the season, the Freshman hockey team will oppose the Pomfret School seven at Pomfret today. This game should be a greater test of the yearlings' ability than that against Stone School last Saturday, as the home team has a very fast combination.

The final practice before the game was held yesterday afternoon and was featured by a scrimmage with an upper-class scrub team, in which the Freshmen were far superior. Coach R. E. Gross '19 especially emphasized team-play.

A big factor in today's contest will be the work of the 1921 forwards. E. L. Bigelow has played a fast, heady game since the beginning of the season, and should be the mainstay of the offence. On the defence, H. P. King, by reason of his speed and shooting ability, should be very effective.

The teams will lineup as follows: Freshmen--r.w., Bacon; r.c., Bigelow; l.c., Buntin; l.w., Van Ingen; c.p., King; p., Humphrey; g., Stillman. Pomfret; r.w., Parsons; r.c., Dewey; l.c., Martin; l.w., Field; c.p., Croft; p., Buell; g., Schuette.

Standish and Smith in Tie.

Standish and Smith Halls played a 0-0 tie in the third match of the interdormitory series yesterday afternoon. After three extra periods the game had to be stopped on account of darkness.
