Cross-Country Squad Small

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Twenty men reported on Soldiers Field yesterday for the fourth day of practice to the combined track and cross-country squads. Sprints and short runs made up the day's practice, especial attention being paid to form. G. H. Tilghman '19, of the 1916 University cross-country team, was in the squad.

The noticeable feature of the day's workout was the extraordinarily poor showing of the Freshman class, only two showing of the Freshman class, only two men from 1921 being present. With an enrolment of over 500, 1921 should have a squad almost as large as in preceding years. It is possible that there will be informal meets with Providence High School, M. L. T., and perhaps with the Yale freshmen.
