An opportunity is offered for men between the ages of 19 and 35 years to receive commissions in the Army in the balloon corps. The number of men at present enrolled in this branch of the service is very small and so the chance now for men is unusually favorable. Men applying for commissions and passing the examination will be sent to a Ground School for training. During first this course of training, they will rank as first class privates and will receive $100 a month pay in addition to quarter, uniforms, and rations. After completing their training they will be commissioned as lieutenants.

Due to the urgent need of Balloonist, Candidates for this position will be examined and placed on active duty as rapidly as possible. Applications should be made to the Department Aeronautical Officer, Room 209, 25 Huntington avenue, Boston, either by mail or in person.
