PROVIDE COMFORTS FOR CORPS

Extensive arrangements are being carried out by the Phillips Brooks House Association to care for the men in Cambridge who are enrolled in the Reserve Officers' Training Corps or the Reserve Radio Corps. The Phillips Brooks House itself will be open to members of either of these units, and writing rooms and other rooms are being fitted up where men who have "time off" may find relaxation.

Beginning Monday a writing room, fully equipped with stationery will be open daily from 12 to 1.30 o'clock. Another writing room will also be maintained in Pierce Hall for the special benefit of the men in the Naval Reserve who are stationed in Cambridge. Arrangements are also being made to supply these recreation rooms with the current magazines. A piano will also be rented for each of the rooms.

After the R. O. T. C. goes into barracks in the Freshman Halls the Association will fit out the Common Rooms for the men living in the halls, and will also continue to maintain the recreation rooms in Pierce Hall and in Phillips Brooks House. A motion picture machine will be purchased, and it is planned to give moving picture entertainments in the Smith Quadrangle.

While the several battalions of the training corps are encamped at Wakefield, the Phillips Brooks House Association will furnish writing materials and facilities for every one on the range. In addition, 100 copies of the CRIMSON are being taken to the camp each day.

For the additional convenience of the newcomers to Cambridge who are enrolled in either the Naval Reserve or the Training Corps, the privileges of the Union have been extended to all such men. The library, reading-rooms, game rooms, pool room, and dining rooms have all been placed at their disposal.
