Military authorities of the University of Pennsylvania have planned a great military carnival to be held on Franklin Field tomorrow.

Every Philadelphia contingent not yet ordered out of the city is expected to participate actively in the exhibition. The local National Guard regiments, recently mustered out of the Federal service after their duty on the Mexican border will be represented in force and more than 1,500 men will be seen in action.

A number of veterans of the Civil War and Spanish-American War have expressed their interest in such an opportunity of seeing an actual portrayal of the modern war-methods or their former departments.
