The University Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa has sent out invitations to the Literary Exercises of its Anniversary in Sanders Theatre on Monday, June 18, at 11.30 o'clock. The orator of the day will be President Alexander Meiklejohn of Amherst, and the poet will be Hermann Hagedorn, Jr. '07. Professor Charles H. Hagedorn, Jr. '07. Professor Charles H. Grandgent '83, the president of the society, will reside.
All winners of scholarships, prizes, and other academic distinctions in the College during the past year, the parents of these students, and the headmasters of the schools at which they were prepared for college are specially invited to the meeting. Tickets for reserved seats may be obtained by applying in writing to the secretary of the Phi Beta Kappa, 23 Everett street.
