The Executive Committee of the Student Council announced last night the appointment of the nominating committee of the Council for the year 1917-18: President, David Mason Little, Jr., '18, of Salem; secretary-treasurer, Joseph Richard Busk '18, of New York, N. Y.; William James Murray '18, of Natick; John Merryman Franklin '18, of New York, N. Y.; Walker Blaine Beale '18, of Augusta, Me.; Charles Parker Reynolds '18, of Readville; Morrill Wiggin '18, of Brookline. This committee will form the nucleus of and act in place of next year's Council until further elections may be held.
C. A. Coolidge, Jr., '17, president of this year's Council, stated that in the event of some members of the above committee not returning to College next fall because of participation in military service, those remaining will carry on the work of the committee. Vacancies will then be filled in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Council.
