NO GENERAL EXCUSE FOR FARMERS

Faculty, However, May Allow Credit in Special Cases.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Although the official statement containing the exact wording of the decision reached by the Faculty in their meeting yesterday in regard to the position of men leaving College to engage in work on farms and ranches was not given out, it was stated that the gist of the resolution was as follows:

No general permission will be given to men to leave College in order to take up agricultural or industrial work of military value, and students intending to engage in such work will not receive credit for their courses. However, certain deserving cases will be considered individually, and it is possible that the Faculty will excuse men whose purpose clearly warrants it.
