NEW WORKSHOP PLAY TONIGHT

"RUSTED STOCK," 4-ACT DRAMA BY MISS HALMAN STAGED AT RADCLIFFE.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The 47 Workshop will present "Rusted Stock," a four-act play of New England life by Miss Doris Halman, Radcliffe 1G, a member of English, 47a, at Agassiz House, Radcliffe, this evening and tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock. The play was written last year in English 47, and has since been revised preparatory to this performance. Miss Halman also wrote "Will o' the Wisp," the one-act phantasy which was given with great success as a curtain-raiser in December.

The play "Rusted Stock" depicts the enervating influence of the life of a small New England town upon one of its sons, and the unexpected remedy. As usual the settings will be designed and executed by the scenic department of the Workshop forces.

This will be the third production of the Workshop's fifth active season. "Will o' the Wisp," mentioned above, and "The Colonel's Comeuppence" were given two private performances in December, and the Icelandic drama, "Eyvind of the Hills," which appeared publicly last week was given at Radcliffe on January 26 and 27. The date of the fourth production has been set for some time during the last week of April.

The cast for the play tonight is as follows: Fanchon Hackett,  Miss Ruth Chorpenning, 1920 Agatha Merriam,  Miss Vianna Knowlton, 1917 Peter Somes,  H. Scholle '18 Billy Bickford,  E. Scott '20 Mr. Sturgis,  E. H. Spoor 2GB Mrs. Morrow,  Mrs. R. B. Perry Mrs. Sturgis,  Miss Florence Leach, 1919 Addie Somes,  Mrs. R. N. Burnham Mrs. Hackett,  Miss Frederica H.
