NEW BOOKS AT WIDENER LIBRARY

Railroad Reports and Complete Set of "Punch" among Additions.

The Widener Library has recently received a bequest of a collection of books and reports concerning railroads by the will of the late Robert D. Jenks '97, of Philadelphia. Mr. Jenks was a lawyer, especially interested in railroad problems and statistics, and his collection is valuable. The library has lately received its regular shipment from England. Among the books received was a complete set of "Punch" for the Farnsworth Room.

The curators in the College Library for the academic year 1917-18 will be:

Thomas Barbour '06, Ph.D., books relating to the Pacific; Oric Bates '05, A.M., works on North Africa; Harold W. Bell '07, A. M., numismatic literature; Charles L. Chandler '05, AB, South American history and literature; Harry N. Gay '96, A. M., Italian history of the 19th century; Charles r. Lanman, Ph.D., LL.D., Indic manuscripts; Walter Lichenstein '00, the Hohenzollern collection; Edward K. Rand '94, Ph.D., manuscripts; Robert G. Shaw '99, A.M., the threaten collection; Malcolm Storer '85, A.B., M.D., coins; Clarence M. Warner, Canadian history and literature; Frederic A. Woods, M.D., Portuguese history.
