Dr. A. T. Davison '06 will give the first of his series of Lowell Institute lectures on "The History of Choral Music" at Huntington Hall, 491 Boylston street, Boston, this evening at 8 o'clock. "Plainsong and Primitive Church Music" will be Dr. Davison's subject.
These lectures are being given every Monday and Thursday evening at 8 o'clock, and every Tuesday and Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock. Each of the seven lectures in the series is to be given both in the evening and the following afternoon. At the lecture this evening and tomorrow afternoon the Appleton Chapel choir will assist Dr. Davison.
