HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
The ninth annual debate under the triangular system between Yale, Princeton and the University will take place in Sanders Theatre, Friday, March 23, at 8 o'clock. The question will be, "Resolved, that after the present war, the United States should so far depart from her traditional policies as to participate in the organization of a league of powers to enforce peace."
Mr. George W. Anderson, a prominent Boston lawyer, and Mr. Charles W. Parmenter, headmaster of Mechanics Arts High School, will be two of the judges for the Cambridge debate. The presiding officer and the third judge have not yet been announced.
A canvassing of the dormitories will start today to sell tickets for the debate, in order to help defray the expenses of the team going to Princeton. Tickets may also be secured at Amee Brothers, the Co-operative Branch, Herrick's and from Manager M. M. Roth '17, 57 Thayer Hall.
