MANNY FEATURE EVENTS MARK TRIANGULAR MEET

Arrangement have been practically completed for the Pennsylvania-Dartmouth-Harvard Triangular Indoor Meet which will be held in Mechanics Building February 17 at 8 o'clock. This is the first time the three colleges have ever met in such an affair. A three-cornered indoor meet is unique in Eastern athletics.

There will be ten events between the three teams eight on the track and two field events. The list includes a 40-yard dash, 45-yard high hurdles, 300-yard run, 600-yard run, 1,00-yard run, one mile run, two mile run, 390-yard relay, shot put and high jump. The relay over the short distance promises to be one of the feature events of the evening. The Dartmouth quartet defeated Princeton at the B. A. A. games last Saturday in 3.09 1-5. This time was bettered by 1 1-5 seconds by the University four running against Cornell. Pennsylvania has had little indoor relay competition this winter, but their men have done well individually. The team will probably be picked from Captain Dorsey, Smith, Lennon, Pope and Kaufman. The University and Dartmouth will undoubtedly be represented by the same teams that ran last Saturday. In the other events the University should have the advantage in the shorter runs, Dartmouth in the hurdles and field events, and Pennsylvania in the distance runs.

Special Events Arranged.

As added attractions to the inter-college competition several special events have been arranged. There will be a 600-yard special with J. E. Meredith, holder of the intercollegiate quarter and half mile record, E. C. Riley, N. Y. A. C., formerly of Dartmouth, and a third man yet to be chose. At the 1,000 yards distance J. T. Higgins, N. Y. A. C., D. S. Caldwell, B. A. A., and Earl Eby, Pennsylvania 1920, will compete. The latter holds the Central A. A. U. half-mile title. It is hoped to have special short-distance relay between the B. A. A. and Holy Cross teams and between Boston College and M. I. T. Arrangements are also being made for a special three-mile event.

Invitations have been sent to the athletes of all the higher schools of Greater Boston to compete in a 390-yard championship event. The race will be run at scratch and in heats. The start will be made at the head of the straightaway to do away with the usual crowding at the first corner. Eligibility rules will be awarded the winner, and medals will be given those finishing second and third.

Tickets may be secured at the H. A. A. or at Wright and Ditson's, Boston. The prices are : reserved seats, stage, $1.50; floor, $11, general admission, balconies, 50 cents. Both Pennsylvania and Dartmouth students and alumni have asked for special blocks of seats.
