NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Candidates for the University lacrosse team will meet in the Trophy Room of the Union Friday night at 7.30 o'clock. Plans for the season will be outlined, and there will be speeches by F. E. Abbe '14 and Dr. J. W. Sever '01, former captain of the University team. Coach Arthur Warwick, of Toronto, who has been with the team during the last two seasons, will coach again this year. Freshmen who are going to play lacrosse are invited to the meeting Friday, but there will be a special meeting for them about April 1.

The University team will take its usual Southern trip during the spring recess and will journey to Ithaca, Hobart and New Haven later in the season.

The schedule as announced yesterday is as follows, the games being played in Cambridge unless otherwise stated:

April 16: Maryland State at College Park, Md.

April 18: Mt. Washington Club at Mt. Washington, Md.

April 21: Johns Hopkins University at Baltimore, Md.

April 28: Open.

May 5: Stevens Institute of Technology.

May 12: Pennsylvania.

May 19: Cornell at Ithaca, N. Y.

May 21: Hobart at Geneva, N. Y.

May 26: Yale at New Haven, Conn.

Candidates will be expected to report in the cage three or four evenings a week for practice until weather conditions permit the squad to get outdoors. Freshmen will not be called out until the University team has gotten well under way with outdoor work.

Manager Candidates Wanted.

Sophomores who are going to compete for the position of second assistant lacrosse manager are to report at the meeting Friday. The competition will close soon after the April recess and the successful candidate will accompany the team to Ithaca and Geneva, N. Y., and probably to New Haven for the Yale game. No previous experience is necessary for this competition.
