According to latest dispatches from England, Allen Shortt 17', previously reported severely wounded and missing, is safe and well in a German prison camp. Shortt, who left college last year to join the Canadian Expeditionary Force, was recently awarded the military cross for exceptional bravery in leading his platoon across "No Man's Land" and capturing practically single-handed a German gun.
