Nearly 200 couples crowded the floor of the Living Room of the Union last night and made it a spot of gaiety for the 12th annual Junior Dance. The decorations, though not elaborate, were artistic and unconventional, and made the Union appear at its best. White Colonial columns and lattices covered with smilax enclosed the boxes, and strings of rosebuds lit with tiny electric bulbs draped from the chandeliers. Baskets of lotus set on columns, marked the entrance to the Living Room. The orchestra was enclosed behind spreading fans of flowers. From the balcony hung the American flag, while at the other end was the Harvard 1918 banner. The several hundred who attended the dance proclaimed it a success and were loath to leave when the orchestra played "Home, Sweet Home."
The committee box, placed in the regular entrance hall, was most attractively arranged. Members of the Dance Committee acted as ushers.
