AMBULANCE MEN SAIL MONDAY

AMERICAN FIELD SERVICE TO BE MUCH EXTENDED IN NEXT FEW WEEKS.

With the relief brought yesterday to the congested cargo situation at New York, preparations are being made by the French liner Chicago to sail on Monday. This is the boat on which 30 members of the University will sail for Bordeaux to drive ambulances at the front. Passports have been issued to these men and it is possible that the ship will be convoyed throughout the voyage.

Harry D. Sleeper, American representative of the American Ambulance Field Service, prophesies that the service will be widely extended in the next few weeks. Five more sections are contemplated, and to help man these ambulances new units will be sent abroad.

Richards, Jr., '19, P. Robinson '19, D. W. Rich '18, V. Rich '19, S. Sewall '20, K. Snow '20 F. C. Stetson '18, J. S. Taylor '18, B. H. Tracy, Jr., '20, R. B. Varnum uC, N. Wainwright '19, and G. G. Whytlaw '18. Another group will probably be sent in March.
