A mass meeting for the 1920 hockey team before its game with the Yale freshmen will be held in the Smith Halls Common Room this evening at 7.30 o'clock. This will be an opportunity for the Freshman Class to show its support which has heretofore been weak, few members of the class even attending the games. Captain N. S. Walker '20 and R. D. Hunneman '17, manager of the University team, will speak.
A cheering section will be organized at the game tomorrow night and a band will be present. Tickets at 75 cents and one dollar may be obtained at the H. A. A. or from E. W. Pavenstedt '20 or L. T. Lanman '20.
Stiff Scrimmage for University.
The University hockey team had a stiff scrimmage against team B yesterday afternoon which went to the substitutes by a 2 to 1 score. The regulars only goal was the result of some pretty passes between Townsend and Rice, the latter scoring, and White and Kissel worked a similar goal for the second-stringmen. Fisher carried the puck the whole way down the ice for the final goal. Eckfeldt's injury was not as serious as was at first supposed and he was back in uniform again.
Tickets for the Princeton game in the Arena on Saturday, February 24, are now on sale at the H. A. A. and at Leavitt and Peirce's. Season tickets will not admit to this game. Three and a half sections in the Arena will be reserved for organized cheering. The price of the tickets will be $1, $1.50 and $2.
