Of the 40 men who reported Tuesday evening for the preliminary trials for the University debating team, 21 were retained. These men will report tonight at the New Lecture Hall at the time indicated in the notice column. They will be required to deliver a ten-minute speech on either side of the prescribed question:

Resolved: That after the present war the United States should so far depart from her traditional policy as to participate in the organization of leagues of Powers to enforce peace.
