Assignments in Military Science 1. January.

Memorandum:--

1. The revised lists showing assignments to sections, lecture groups, and companies go into effect today.

2. All members of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps, whether or not they have applied for transfer or assignment to any company, lecture group, or section, are enjoined to read the new lists in order that there may be no misunderstanding as to the unit to which they have been assigned. These lists are posted on the bulletin boards of the Department of Military Science and Tactics, University Hall, in the respective section rooms and at the place appointed for the assembly of the companies; also, upon the bulletin boards in Memorial Hall, Sever Hall and at Smith Halls.

3. First sergeants of companies, instructors of sections; and head monitors of lecture groups are directed to send promptly to the Aid for Assignments. Warren House, the names of men in their respective units (a) who are attending formations, etc., but are not on the printed list, (b) who are on the printed list but are not attending formations, (c) who are incorrectly printed.

4. Until further notice, instructors, head monitors and first sergeants, following each class or formation, will submit to the Commandant's Office. I Uni- versity Hall, a report of attendance, showing absentees, etc. The printed list will be used for this purpose, signed by the instructor, head monitor, or first sergeant, and submitted within 24 hours following the class, lecture or formation.  C.
