First Drill in Armory Yesterday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Owing to the recent snows and the extreme cold, the special Military Science 2 drill took place for the first time in the Commonwealth Armory yesterday afternoon. The cadets made the trip to the Armory in special trolley-cars, and arrived there soon after 4 o'clock. Lieutenant Morize supervised the drill, Captain L. A. Wheeler '18 commanded the company, and Captains F. Parkman '19, G. A. Browneli '19, C. Canfield '19 and F. C. Fishback '19 the four platoons.

The most important feature of the work was the practice of individual platoons in the mechanism of extensive, deployment and assembling in the new United States open order drill. This exercise was somewhat hampered by the limited space, but considerable progress was made.
