A conference of delegations from the University, Yale and Princeton was held at New Haven on Saturday to decide questions about the proposed triangular debate in the spring. Judge A. P. Stone '93 and J. Davis '19 represented the University. The purpose of the conference was to decide whether the usual triangular debate will be held this year, and if so to determine the date of the debate and the status of the three teams.
Yale was willing to have the debate but wished it to be extemporaneous, while the University and Princeton were in favor of having the subject for the debate announced six weeks in advance, as in previous years. A compromise was finally made by which it was agreed to hold the debate some time in March and to announce the question two weeks before the day of the actual debate. As usual the three colleges will exchange teams to argue on each side of the question.
