Today will be the last day on which applications for the third series of Officers' Training Camps will be received at the Military Office. About 80 blanks have been taken out by members of the R. O. T. C., and of these 70 have been returned to Headquarters. The Office will not be open after 1 o'clock this afternoon, so it is essential that all cadets hand in the blanks before that time.
The University's allotment for the Third Camps is 56. The Memorandum of Information from the War. Department states expressly that all undergraduates must apply through the local department of Military Science. The University Office will consider less favorably the applications of cadets with low grades in examinations and with unexcused absences marked against them.
Special emphasis has been laid by the War Department on the fact that letters of recommendation are not wanted, but only the names of three reputable citizens who know the applicant.
