SCRUB SOCCER GAME AT BROCKTON

Freshmen Will Open Season Next Week with Worcester Academy.

A game is scheduled this afternoon for the scrub soccer team, made up of men from both the Freshman and upper class teams, against Brockton. The contest which will be played at Brockton, will be in the nature of a practice game. A full schedule is being arranged for the Freshman team, however, and they will open the season against Worcester Academy next week.

The material for a University team is, on the whole, promising. Five members of last year's team have returned. These are E. E. Lucas '19, M. S. Levin '18, W. W. Rice '18, C. F. Zukoski '19. Captain R. C. Cooke '18, has enrolled in the Naval Reserve, and F. C. Dimond '19, has been chosen in his place. The defence is very strong, and the greatest trouble will be encountered in forming a successful forward combination.
