The first regimental review for the R. O. T. C. will take place next Monday afternoon, November 26, at 4 o'clock, when the University Committee on Military Science and Tactics will review the Corps on Soldiers Field. This committee consists of ten members: George Baty Blake '93, Franklin Delano Roosevelt '04, Amos Tuck French '85, Langdon Parker Marvin '98, Samuel Parker, George Cheever Shattuck '01, William Davies Sohier '11, Eliot Wadsworth '98, Alexander Whiteside '95, and Major-General Leonard Wood, M.D., '84. Although all these men will not be able to be present, it is expected that most of them will be here on that date.
Before the review, at 3 o'clock, the committee will meet in Major Flynn's office at Military Headquarters in the basement of University Hall to discuss the entire military and naval situation as it affects the University.
All tactical instructors of the Corps will match with the Regimental Staff. R. O. T. C. officials have issued an order that no overcoats of any kind may be worn by cadet officers, non-commissioned officers or privates. This order includes the regulation O.D. overcoat and the short sheepskin coat which have been authorized for ordinary usage.
Test for Military Science 2.
Two weeks from today, on Tuesday, December 4, at 5 o'clock, there will be a test for Military Science 2 which will cover the lectures and the regular and special drills.
The War Department has ordered that all applicants for the Third Series of Officers' Training Camps must be examined at their own expense by some reputable physician. R. O. T. C. applicants may have their examination free at Weld 4, between the hours of 12 and 3 o'clock daily. Men who wish to take advantage of this opportunity must bring their application blanks with them to be signed by the examiner. All blanks should be handed in as soon as possible.
