NEW HAVEN, CONN., November 15, 1917. The Freshmen and the informals held a practice game today. Neither team was able to score although the university players held a slight advantage throughout.

The Freshman backfield played a strong game and if the line had shown power the 1921 team would have pushed the ball across for a score. The line play was very ragged, the university backs making long gains on guard and tackle drives.

The Freshman class marched to the field with a band to cheer the team in its last practice before its departure for Cambridge.

The team had the following lineup: l.e., Scully; l.t., Walker; l.g., Welch; c., Acosta; r.g., Trippe; r.t., Munger; r.e., Dilworth; q.b., Neville; l.h.b., Lay; r.h.b., Dines; f.b., Dines.
