With the collection of approximately $25,000, the work of the Liberty Loan Committee has been unusually successful. The actual accomplishment of the committee can not, however, be judged by the amount of money collected. Of equal importance has been the wide publicity given to the Liberty Loan before the minds of all the members of the University.
Though with the close of its successful campaign, the work of the committee is now officially over, it is hoped that there will still continue to be a large number of subscriptions before the close of the bond sale at the end of the month. Harvard will give its money as it has its men.
