The members of the track and cross-country squads who are eligible to run in next Saturday's race under the auspices of the Boston Athletic Association spent the time yesterday in preparation under the direction of Coach Farrell. Manager J. C. Bolton '20 is endeavoring to arrange it so that these men can be excused from the inspection and battalion parade which would prohibit their taking part in the meet. It is expected, however, that this can be seen to with little difficulty. The race, starting at 3 o'clock, will be for military and naval men only, and will cover a course of approximately five miles starting and finishing at the B. A. A. Club House on Exeter Street, Boston. The first thirty men to finish will receive medals.

The Freshmen are scheduled now to run as an R. O. T. C. squad at Wakefield on November 3, and perhaps men interested in track might start teams among the companies of the regiment, and organize a meet later in the fall.
