SOCCER MEN CALLED OUT TODAY

Outside Contests and Inter-battalion Games Will Be Planned.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

All men interested in soccer will report at the Track room of the Locker Building today at 3 o'clock dressed to play. Upon the number of candidates depends to a large degree the plans for a regular schedule of games. If enough interest is shown games will be arranged with nearby teams for both the Freshman squad and the University squad. At the present time it is planned to have the Freshmen coached by experienced men from the upper-classes.

Soccer also comes into the consideration of the H. A. A. as regards inter-battalion or inter-company athletics. It would be possible to have each company represented by a team in soccer as well as in other sports and a series of games for the regimental championship might be arranged.
