The trials for the Pierian Sodality which ended last night drew more than twenty-five candidates for membership, the majority of whom were violinists.

Mr. Alloo, trombone soloist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, who will conduct the Sodality again this year, has prepared some interesting programs for the coming season.
