University May Not Row Cornell

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

There is a possibility that the University will not row Cornell this spring, after meting annually on the water since 1905. The rowing managements of the two universities have not thus far been able to agree on a date, Cornell wishing to row on May 25 and University desiring an earlier date.

The University has received a suggestion from Columbia that the New York eight come on here early in may for a contest on the Charles. No answer has as yet been sent.

Princeton has sent the University an invitation to race the Tiger crew on Lake Carnegie during the spring recess. This event proved extremely successful last year, but no definite acceptance can be made until the matter is taken up by the Athletic Committee.
