DONOVAN OFFICIALLY HEAD COACH

Freshman Track Manager Competition Begins Monday at 2.30 O'clock.

At a meeting of the Graduate Advisory Board for Track yesterday, "Pooch" Donovan, who has been acting as Head Coach this fall as announced in the CRIMSON, was officially vested with the title.

The competition for the positions of manager and assistant manager of the Freshman track team will begin on Monday at 2.30, when candidates will report at the Locker Building. The winner will receive his numerals. The work will be divided between the cross-country and track team proper. No previous experience is necessary. The competition will be decided about the time of the Harvard Yale cross-country run.

The cross-country training table will start on Monday morning at the Varsity Club. The following in addition to manager Eaton are to report: Captain A. R. Bancroft '17, R. W. Babcock '17, H. R. Bechtel '17, R. S. Cook '17, J. D. Hutchinson '19, G. A. King '18 and W. P. White-house, 2d, '17.

The morning walks will start today when all candidates are to report at the north entry of Matthews at 7.45 o'clock.
