College Men Study Accountancy

According to the American Association of Public Accountants which is holding its annual session in New York City this week some 12,000 college men throughout the United States have, during the past year taken up the study of accountancy. Twenty-four colleges and universities are now giving accountancy training and ten of these study accountancy by "laboratory" method.

The survey from which these figures are obtained is said to indicate the greatest development known to a profession which is generally acknowledged to be still in its infancy.
