In the first half of the period, from July 20 to August 9, Professor Millione will give a course on the style of the chief periods of French literature; Professor Rossier will lecture on the questions of contemporary history; and Professor Freymond will give a course on the French language since the Revolution. During the second part of the session, from August 10 to August 30, Professor Volait will give a course on literary life in the nineteenth century. Professor Maurer will give a course which will consider the theory of translation, with its practical application in translating from English, German, and Russian into French.
