Pennsylvania Shut Out Yale 3 to 0

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Pennsylvania shut out Yale with but five hits in a 3 to 0 game, at Philadelphia Saturday. Garfield, the Eli twirler, pitched a strong game, all three tallies being tainted by errors by his support. The Quakers speed on the paths, combined with skill in sacrificing, gave them two of their counts, both of these resulting from the squeeze play.

Results of other college games Saturday are as follows:

Brown 3; Amherst, 2.

Syracuse, 1 Army, 0.

Holy Cross, 1; Fordham, 1 (Called in fifth, rain.)

Worcester Tech., 1; St. Anselm's, 0.
