FOOTBALL MEN START FALL PRACTICE ON SEPTEMBER 7

Coaches Brown, Leary, Wigglesworth and Parmenter in Charge of First Few Days.

Candidates for the 1916 football team will report at Soldiers Field on Thursday, September 7, and will begin work under the direction of Coaches Brown, Leary, Parmenter, Wigglesworth, and probably the following members of the 1914 team: H. R. Hardwick '15, M. J. Logan '15, W. H. Trumbull '15, and D. J. Wallace '16. Coach P. D. Haughton '99 will not be in Cambridge for the first few days of practice, but he is expected to take charge soon after the season is under way. A squad of over a hundred men is expected to return for early work.

The University football schedule for the fall has been completed with the addition of North Carolina and Massachusetts Agricultural College to fill the open dates. The schedule is as follows:

September 23.--Colby.

September 30.--Pates.

October 7.--Tufts.

October 14.--North Carolina.

October 21.--Massachusetts Agricultural.

October 28.--Cornell.

November 4.--Virginia.

November 11.--Princeton.

November 18.--Brown.

November 25.--Yale, at New Haven.
