Application blanks for tickets to the Commencement Exercises in the Stadium on June 22 are now obtainable at the offices of the Deans of the different departments. These blanks should be filled out by those persons entitled to apply for them immediately and returned to the office of the University Marshal, John Warren '96, University 5. Distribution of tickets will be made about the first of June.
Officers of instruction and government, candidates for degrees, other students in the University and the alumni do not themselves need tickets of admission. They may secure tickets, however, for members of their families.
Candidates for degrees must send in their applications on the proper blanks on or before May 15. Each candidate is entitled to at least four seats for the Commencement exercises. Any candidates desiring more than that number can apply for them at the same time; and after the first assignment of tickets has been made, each candidate will receive additional tickets as far as possible in accordance with his request. The number, however, will depend upon the number available for this second distribution. The first assignment of tickets to candidates for degrees will be made before June 10, and the second as soon as possible after that date. The tickets will be distributed form the offices of the Deans of the different departments.
Applications from officers of instruction and government must be at University 5 on or before May 25. These must be made in accordance with a letter of instruction to be mailed soon.
Alumni of the College may apply for two seats for members of their families to the University Marshal on or before May 31. Officers and degree candidates will, however, be considered first in making allotments. Alumni themselves need no tickets, for they will enter into the class parade.
Candidates for degrees, officers of instruction and government and members of the alumni are all particularly requested not to make application for more seats than they can reasonably expect to use for members of their families.
With each assignment there will be issued rain tickets for Sanders Theatre. As there is only a limited supply, however, these tickets will be reserved entirely for the families of candidates for degrees.
