The second baseball team was defeated by the Lowell Textile School on Soldiers Field yesterday by the score of 11 to 3.

In the seventh inning, a batting rally by the seconds seemed likely to turn the tide, but at the critical moment, the needed stickwork was lacking, a situation which occurred several times in the course of the game. For Lowell Textile, Sturtevant pitched a steady game throughout.
