Yale Bowl to be Scene of Opera

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Final arrangements have been made for the production of Wagner's opera. "Die Walkure," in the Yale Bowl on June 5. The production will be on the same plan as that of "Siegfried," given in the University Stadium last June. The performance at Yale will be under the direction of Mr. S. Kronberg, the same man who directed "Siegfried" last year.

A star cast has been announced, containing such artists as Mme. Gadski, Schumann-Heink, Johannes Sembach, and Carl Braun.

Only about a third of the Bowl will be used for the production. The scenery, costumes, and properties will be built for the occasion. The production will be under the auspices of the Yale School of Music.
