Dartmouth Man Examined Regiment

R. F. Magill, Dartmouth '16, editor-in-chief of "The Dartmouth," was in Cambridge on Saturday to examine the details of organization of the Regiment, and the features of the system which made it a success. The Dartmouth Battalion attracted much interest when it was first formed, but for various reasons, especially since the faculty decided to allow three hours credit towards a degree for attendance at the Plattsburg camp, the enrolment has fallen to about thirty. These men are now working on extended order drill, and skirmishing drills in hilly country. A signal corps, distinct from the regular battalion, has been organized and holds daily practice in the various forms of military signalling.
