The twentieth annual meeting of the Associated Harvard Clubs at Pittsburgh today and tomorrow promises to bring together the largest gathering of graduates of the University that has ever assembled west of New York City.
The business sessions of the association will be held at the William Penn Hotel this morning and part of the afternoon. After an informal class dinner at the Schenley Hotel this evening, a "Pop" Concert will be given. The latter is to be out of doors, weather permitting.
After a march to the strains of "Up the Street" tomorrow morning, the delegates will escape beyond the limits of the Pittsburgh atmosphere, traveling by automobile to the Alleghany Country Club, twenty miles away. The afternoon will be devoted to golf, tennis, and other sports. The annual banquet in the evening promises to be a fitting climax to the meeting. The probable speakers include President Lowell, Major-General Leonard Wood, M.D. '84, Ralph Stanwood Foss '03, Thomas W. Lamont '92, the retiring president, and the incoming president elected at the meeting.
