The Freshman track team lost to Yale by the score of 55 1-2 to 48 1-2 points at New Haven Saturday. The Yale 1919 team appeared weak in the track events, but a clean sweep in the field events cut off the University Freshman team from winning. No records were broken, but there were some excellent performances. Captain Rodman of the Yale team captured four first places, winning the two hurdle events, the shot-put and the high-jump. H. C. Flower, Jr., '19 was the individual star of his team, taking first place in the 100 and 220-yard dashes and the broad-jump. In the 220-yard dash DeCernea of Yale was disqualified for stepping out of his lane or otherwise he would have won this event handily.

The half-mile was the feature race of the meet. C. C. Bassett '19 ran a pretty race and finished a scant yard ahead of Cheel of Yale.
