Freshman Golfers Proved Too Strong for Exeter Players

The Freshman golf team defeated the Exeter team last Saturday afternoon 16 1-2 to 1 1-2 points. Thus far the season has been very successful; in addition to defeating the Exeter team Saturday, the St. Mark's golfers were easily defeated at Southboro last Monday, and the representatives of Watertown High School overcome in a one-sided match on Tuesday, May 2.

The 1919 golf team still has three matches to play. Next Saturday, May 20, the team will go to Concord where it will play St. Paul's School. On the following Tuesday, May 23, the Dartmouth freshmen will be played at Boston, and on Saturday, May 27, the team will end its season with a match with the 1919 Yale team, probably to be played in New London.
