Hubbell Won Feature Match from Dewitt at Twenty-First Hole.

The University golf team defeated Cornell by a score of 5 to 1 at the Oakley Country Club yesterday afternoon. The featured match was that between J. W. Hubbell '17 and J. Dewitt, of Cornell, which was won by the University player at the twenty-first hole.

The score follows: J. G. Heyburn '16 (captain) defeated C. T. Lansing (C.), 6 and 5; J. W. Hubbell '17 defeated J. Dewill (C.), 21st hole; D. D. Cook (C.) defeated L. H. Canan '17, 4 and 3; W. P. Hunt '16 defeated E. B. Cook (C.), 1 up; G. A. McCook '16 defeated H. Wyman (C.), 1 up; F. I. Amory '17 defeated H. J. Bradley (C.), 2 up.

The semi-final round of the College championship tournament will be played at Oakley today. The finals will be played on Monday and Tuesday, 36 holes being necessary to decide the winner. Today's matches follow: J. G. Heyburn '16 vs. L. M. Lombard '17, L. H. Canan '17 vs. W. A. Flagg '19.
