FLYING CORPS MEETS TONIGHT

The first organization meeting of the Harvard Flying Corps will be held in the corps' newly established quarters at 1280 Massachusetts avenue this evening at 7 o'clock. Frazier Curtis '98, Commanding Officer, and H. H. Metcalf '17, Temporary Flight Captain, will speak. The principal purpose of the meeting is to organize and put into operation the machinery of the corps, made necessary by the opening of the new quarters. Hours for the course of lectures on flying that will soon be started will also be arranged. These lectures will be given by experts on the construction of aeroplanes, the working of aeroplane engines, and service flying in France, which latter topic will be treated by Mr. Curtis from his personal experience.

The new headquarters of the Flying Corps, which will be opened tonight, are rapidly being fitted for the use of the corps. Two needs will be looked after; social and experimental. Books on flying and the foreign periodicals on aviation will be kept on hand. It is probable also that some aeroplane engines will be installed in the rear of the building, for experimental purposes.
