Entries for the Leiter Cup baseball series, which will begin next Monday afternoon, will close this evening at 6 o'clock. Only nine full teams have thus far signed up in the blue-books at Leavitt & Peirce's. At least three more teams should be entered by this evening, to insure a repetition of last year's successful season. Two years ago twenty-five teams competed, and last year's series totalled 15 entries.
A number of the teams which have already signed up are without managers. It is important that someone be appointed by each team, to fill the duties of both manager and scorer. All game scorers must be placed in the box marked "Leiter Cup" just inside and to the right of the front door of the CRIMSON Building, every evening, not later than 7 o'clock.
