Simpson Mentioned in Dispatches

H. R. D. Simpson '18, who is now in the service of the Royal Flying Corps of the English army, has been mentioned in dispatches by Marshal Sir John French for gallant and distinguished services in the field. Simpson, who attended school at Eton, left college soon after entering in October, 1914. On his return to England, he accepted a second lieutenancy in the Sixth Dragoons. Subsequently, he received a commission as lieutenant in a division of the Royal Flying Corps.
