"WHITE ELEPHANT" IN NEW YORK.

Hasty Pudding Club Production at Hotel Astor on April 18 and 19.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Hasty Pudding Club will produce "The White Elephant" at the Hotel Astor, New York, on the evenings of April 18 and 19 at 8.15 o'clock. The production of this play in New York is the result of the marked success which it made in Cambridge and Boston, for "The White Elephant" probably met with more popular approval than any of the previous Hasty Pudding Club plays.

Much of this success is to be attributed to the excellence of the musical numbers. "The White Elephant" has been particularly fortunate in having R. M. Jopling '16, S. P. Sears '17, and D. MacC. Stewart '16, to write the music for it, and this work has proved to be of more than average merit. The play will be produced in New York exactly as it was in Cambridge and Boston with the same cast. J. K. Hodges '14 is in charge of the management.

Tickets may be purchased at the Hotel Astor, Tyson's McBride's and the Harvard Club of New York. The price of tickets will be $2.50 for orchestra seats, and $20 for boxes containing 4 or 6 seats and $25 for boxes containing 7 or 8 seats.
