Parson Will Not Coach Bowdoin

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Joseph Atherton Gilman, Jr., of Honolulu, Hawaii, will be line coach at Annapolis next fall. Gilman's decision was verified last night. He will report at the naval academy August 15 and spend a portion of his time getting the plebes into shape before the regular academy teams report for work. He will coach under the direction of Lieutenant Jonas Ingram, Annapolis' head coach, who was also instrumental in getting H. R. Hardwick '15 to coach the backfield last summer.

Denials were made last night of the reports printed in Boston newspapers that K. B. G. Parson '16 would coach the Bowdoin eleven next season.
