The Freshman Finance Committee has completed its work of collection and according to the report of Charles S. Fuller '19, secretary-treasurer of the Freshman class, the total collection to date amounts to $1,477.33. This is $116.62 more than the amount of $1,360.71 collected by the Finance Committee of the class of 1918 last year. From thirty to fifty dollars more has been promised so that the final receipts should total over $1,500.
The committee has been working for the last two weeks under the system of sub-committees. In this way more than $400 was collected. The sub-committee over which Cass Canfield '19, of Rosslyn, L. I., N. Y., was the chairman, did the most efficient work. This gives Canfield the position of assistant treasurer of the Finance Committee. The work of S. R. Dunham '19 and his sub-committee deserves special mention, since they made the largest actual collection.
